May 10, 2020: The majority of museums, zoos, and camp programs in the US remain closed to the public due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus). SciTech Hands On Museum misses our guests! April 15, 2020: SciTech Hands On Museum is tracking the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation daily. The museum is seeking some of the relief funds made available through state and federal grants. March 25, 2020: SciTech Hands On Museum is working on new ways for our friends and guests to explore STEAM online while the building is closed. Check out the Facebook Page for daily challenges in LEGOS, cooking, engineering, and more. Guests are also invited to submit a photo of a museum visit and have it turned into a coloring page for everyone to enjoy.


SciTech Hands On Museum has joined the effort to #FLATTENTHECURVE and fight the coronavirus, along with other museums in the Chicagoland area. 

EFFECTIVE Saturday, March 14, 2020,
the museum will be closed to the public.
