Launched with a challenge
grant of $750,000 from the Dunham Fund, SciTech Hands-On Museum
will build the John C. Dunham Planetarium, the second-largest
planetarium in the state of Illinois.
With a design donated by Cordogan Clark & Associates, the
Dunham Planetarium will be a place of wonder and dreams where
imaginations will be excited and a student's passion for science
will be born.
The John C. Dunham Planetarium will be a state-of-the-art facility
with the most up-to-date projection system available in the
world. Truly, the wonders of the universe will be brought to
the children of the Fox Valley.
The Dunham Planetarium will only happen with the financial support
of the families and businesses of the Fox Valley.
