Cub Scout Pin Counselor

Job Description:
Purpose: To teach Cub Scout Scientist and Engineering curricula and instill scouting principles while helping the scouts to earn their pins.
Duties: To teach on Saturdays from 10 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and from 1:30 to 4:00 P.M. Teachers need to arrive 1⁄2 hour before first class for preparation and stay about 1⁄2 hour after their last class for clean up.
Roles: Teachers will report monthly to the Deputy Director for class schedule and to the Weekend Supervisor on the days on which they teach.
Professional Skills: Counselors must have a professional attitude, teaching experience, and a working knowledge of Scouting skills, rituals and organization. Experience leading troop meetings and activities is essential.
Pay: $45 per class session, or $90/day, including prep and clean-up time.
